Dumbledore being gay means absolutely nothing and is a stupid thing to tell fans after the books were written

What was the point?! I never once thought anything about Dumbledore’s sexuality, and I could not tell you any instances that pointed to him being gay. “But he was close to this wizard when he was young!!” Why would that point to him being gay, rather than the fact that people can have close friendships?I just think it’s so blatantly virtue-signalling and annoying that we have this character who never even hinted at attraction toward anyone (at least no one I can think of), and he’s suddenly gay...why?
