Anyone feel like r/movies only talks about the same ~50 movies in an endless cycle of quasi-hipster fandom?

I’ll start by saying it’s not really a bad thing, but I constantly see posts of “just watched ____” and I get a weird sense of deja vu every time. I’ll list a bunch of titles that immediately come to mind with this phenomenon.Donnie Darko, Pulp Fiction, American Psycho, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Mad Max: Fury Road, Whiplash, Children of Men, No Country for Old Men, 3 Billboards, Moonrise Kingdom, Grand Budapest, Paddington 1 & 2, LOTR (every week there’s a “wow it still holds up” post), Drive, Annihilation, The Shining, BR 2049, The Truman Show, City of GodGreat movies but all sort of have a common denominator that I can’t quite put my finger on (besides most being less than 20 years old).Let me know what titles I missed.Edit: Sorry I forgot that list formatting on the phone goes to shit when posted. Threw in some commas for you salty dogs. via /r/movies http://bit.ly/2RF49bj
