Watch Jackie Brown

I loved this film. Right from the first scene you get the feel of the film. The soundtrack is beautiful, typical of a Tarantino movie. And the cast is great.All these characters are trying to scheme and scam eachother, and the way it plays out is beautiful. The feeling of the film is also beautiful. And I enjoyed every scene.The understated-ness of Robert Forsters character is great. Especiallly when coupled with 'too cool for school' Jackie Brown. The way they 'show don't tell' in the scene the morning after Ordell tries to kill Jackie is wonderful. Especially as Jackie opens the door and asks if he wants his gun back, I expected Ordell to walk in, but it was Robert Forster. I applauded this scene- so beautifull done.De Niro's character is also great. He has been in jail for 4 years and he returns to the world a shell of his former self, the way De Niro emphasises this point is again so subtle and understated, but so beautifully done.The multiple threads of this story crossover many times, and finally come to a head.
