Stand By Me (1986): Whether you have seen it before, or have never seen it, this is the perfect movie for Labor Day weekend.

Stand By Me is one of the most essential coming-of-age movies ever made. Set over a Labor Day weekend in 1959, the story follows four twelve-year old boys who are in search of a dead body. Along the way, we are given insight into their daily struggles, as well as their coping mechanisms. It is an absolute must-see.I cannot find an original trailer, but I am including a link to my favorite scene below.
