30 min of movie trailers before a movie in a theater is excessive

I haven't been to the theaters in two years. I just recently went to see The Last Jedi and the showing time was 4:30pm. The actual movie didn't even start until 5pm! We live in a world where services are delivered free of ads if you pay. Think Netflix. I pay them monthly to not have ads. Why am I plagued with ads in the theater when I paid full price for a ticket to see a film? via /r/movies http://ift.tt/2CW6HMM
